A Legacy of
Heart & Harmony

MI RE LA is more than a name: it is a promise.  Mirella, a conservatory-trained pianist, taught that every meal deserves beauty, even in the kitchen.

Her father, a true Neapolitan, brought joy and luck with his corno charm.  Together, they live in every stitch.

We fulfill her dream: simple beauty as legacy.

The name MI RE LA is a loving homage to the founder’s mother, Mirella. She passed down a deep passion for the home and, above all, for the art of the table.

She taught that no occasion was too small for beauty, preparing marvelous settings even for a simple family meal. To her, caring for the table was a profound act of love.

But the name holds a second, poetic layer of meaning. MI, RE, LA are three notes on the musical scale — a fitting symbol for a woman who was a conservatory-trained pianist and a gifted artist.

She imparted not just her skills in knitting and embroidery, but a sense of rhythm, artistry, and balance. It was her dream to one day open a space that celebrated these passions. MI RE LA is the fulfillment of that dream.

The story of MI RE LA, however, would not be complete without the founder’s father. A key symbol of the brand is il Corno — the iconic Italian horn.

In Neapolitan tradition, the Corno is much more than a simple good-luck charm (portafortuna). It is an ancient talisman, believed for centuries to ward off negativity and protect the home. It is a symbol of life, strength, and prosperity.

For us, this symbol is a loving tribute to his Neapolitan roots. It represents the contagious joy, the warmth of tradition, and the good fortune he brought to the family — a legacy of protection that we now weave into every piece.

MI RE LA is the union of these two legacies: the Art and Harmony of a mother who made life beautiful, and the Tradition and Joy of a father who brought good fortune.

It is a story of love and family, woven into a constant pursuit of authenticity and true Italian style — crafted into every piece.
