Many ask us: "What is Coated Linen?"
It is our solution for enjoying elegance every day, without the worry. We start with high-quality, pure natural linen. We then apply a double layer of acrylic coating that is incredibly thin and matte.
The Result? A fabric that retains the beautiful texture and drape of real linen but becomes stain-resistant and water-repellent. Wine, coffee, and oil can be simply wiped away with a damp sponge. No machine washing is required for every spill. It is practical luxury at its finest.
Caring for Your Linens
Love them, and they will last forever.
PURE LINEN (Napkins, Embroidered Placemats, Guest Towels) Pure linen is a strong, natural fiber that actually gets softer and more beautiful with use.
- Washing: Machine wash on a gentle cycle with mild detergent (max 40°C / 105°F). Avoid bleach.
- Drying: We recommend air drying to maintain the fresh, crisp scent of the fabric.
- Ironing: For a hotel-quality look, iron on the reverse side while the fabric is still slightly damp.
COATED LINEN (Bread Baskets, Coated Placemats) Our coated linen is designed for easy living.
- Daily Care: Simply wipe spills instantly with a damp sponge. This is usually all that is needed.
- Washing: Machine wash only when necessary, on a delicate cycle (max 30°C / 85°F). Do not spin dry or tumble dry.
- Ironing (Crucial): Always iron on the reverse side only (the non-coated side). Never touch the coated surface with a hot iron.
