The red fox that crosses the snowy meadows around Cortina in winter, embroidered in rust and warm brown, with dark brown accents and off-white highlights. Oatmeal Stone is pale enough that the rust reads from across the room, so each place setting gets its own fox before a plate goes down. Lay the set on a wood table for a long Sunday lunch in the mountains, or for dinner by the fire when the windows have gone dark.

Each placemat is built on a structured core with a removable embroidered linen cover. The elastic edge holds the cover flat and lets you lift it off to wash on its own.
