Description

A mountain pairing for aperitivo after a day on the slopes.

The Oatmeal Stone basket carries the Stambecco, the alpine ibex, and holds bread, grissini or small bites. The four off-white cocktail napkins carry the Sciatore, a vintage skier, ironed crisp and flat for drinks and small plates.

The warm Oatmeal Stone next to the off-white gives the set a collected look, as if the two pieces had been found separately. When the après-ski is over, the basket can stay by the front door with a small plant, in the guest bathroom with rolled towels, or in the kitchen with a pot of rosemary.

  • 1 Cortina Stambecco Basket: Ø 6.3" x H 5.5" / Ø 16 x H 14 cm, Oatmeal Stone, with Stambecco embroidery, structured coated linen with a fold-over top.
  • 4 Cortina Sciatore Cocktail Napkins (1 set of 4): 6" x 6" / 15 x 15 cm, off-white, with Sciatore embroidery, 100% premium linen, ironed crisp and flat, with a hemmed edge.

  • Material: Basket in 100% premium linen with a protective resin coating, for easy everyday cleaning. Cocktail napkins in 100% premium linen.
  • Base Color: Oatmeal Stone for the basket; Off-White for the cocktail napkins.
  • Embroidery: Stambecco (ibex) in taupe, warm brown, dark brown and off-white on the basket; Sciatore (vintage alpine skier) in grey and black on the cocktail napkins.
  • Origin: Designed, cut, sewn and embroidered in Italy.
  • Handmade Note: Each piece is individually handcrafted, so slight variations in embroidery placement, stitching or tone may occur. These differences are part of its handmade character.
  • Use: Après-ski aperitivo for four, then bread, guest towels, a small plant or herbs.
Care

Cocktail Napkins

Washing: Gentle cycle at 30°C / 86°F with a mild detergent. No bleach.

Drying: Dry flat or on a line, and take them down while still slightly damp.

Ironing: Iron on the reverse at medium heat while slightly damp. This is what gives them their crisp, flat finish.

Basket

Everyday care: Wipe with a damp cloth and a little mild soap. Clean spills promptly, since marks left to sit can set into the coating.

Washing: Only when it really needs it: gentle cycle at 30°C / 86°F, never above 40°C / 104°F, with a mild detergent.

Avoid: fabric softener, chlorine bleach, spin cycles and the dryer.

Drying: Hang to dry in the shade.

Ironing: Medium heat, always through a clean cloth, from the reverse side where possible.

Dry cleaning: Allowed.

Please note: Long exposure to direct sun, rain or damp air can fade the color and wear the fabric.
