Cortina Stella Alpina Placemats in Oatmeal Stone — Set of 2

The edelweiss, the small white star that grows on the rocky slopes above Cortina, embroidered as a single flower: off-white petals and muted olive leaves, warmed with touches of ochre and outlined in taupe. Use it as a placemat or as a charger under the dinner plate, and when the table is cleared let it stay where it is, a small flower at each empty place.

The pale petals sit lightly on the Oatmeal Stone ground, so the flower reads clearly at each place without crowding the plate. Set it out for a lunch in the sun after a morning on the slopes or a quiet dinner when the snow is falling outside.

Each placemat is built on a structured core with a removable embroidered linen cover. The elastic edge holds the cover flat and lets you lift it off to wash on its own.
