Description

The red fox that crosses the snowy meadows around Cortina, embroidered in rust and warm brown with off-white highlights, on an Oatmeal Stone ground.

At a long lunch in the mountains it comes to the table full of warm bread. The rest of the week it can stay out where people see it. Set it on the console by the front door with a small plant inside, so the fox is the first thing guests meet when they come in from the cold. In the guest bathroom it holds rolled hand towels, and in the kitchen a pot of rosemary fits it well.

The linen is coated and the top folds over, so the basket holds its shape on its own, full or empty.

Care

Everyday care: Wipe with a damp cloth and a little mild soap. Clean spills promptly, since marks left to sit can set into the coating.

Washing: Only when it really needs it: gentle cycle at 30°C / 86°F, never above 40°C / 104°F, with a mild detergent.

Avoid: fabric softener, chlorine bleach, spin cycles and the dryer.

Drying: Hang to dry in the shade.

Ironing: Medium heat, always through a clean cloth, from the reverse side where possible.

Dry cleaning: Allowed.

Please note: Long exposure to direct sun, rain or damp air can fade the color and wear the fabric.
