Description

An off-white turtle on a dark taupe ground.

On a dark wood table it almost disappears, until the bread comes out and the turtle shows against the linen. Away from the table it suits rooms with stone or wood. Rolled guest towels in the bathroom, a small plant on the console by the door, a pot of rosemary next to the stove: the dark ground handles each of them without fuss.

The linen is coated and the top folds over, so the basket holds its shape on its own, full or empty.

Care

Everyday care: Wipe with a damp cloth and a little mild soap. Clean spills promptly, since marks left to sit can set into the coating.

Washing: Only when it really needs it: gentle cycle at 30°C / 86°F, never above 40°C / 104°F, with a mild detergent.

Avoid: fabric softener, chlorine bleach, spin cycles and the dryer.

Drying: Hang to dry in the shade.

Ironing: Medium heat, always through a clean cloth, from the reverse side where possible.

Dry cleaning: Allowed.

Please note: Long exposure to direct sun, rain or damp air can fade the color and wear the fabric.
